The Origin
Why "Prefrontal Cortex"?
The prefrontal cortex is the last region of the brain to fully develop in humans — and the first to be overwhelmed when we're operating under pressure or at cognitive limits. It handles executive function: planning, decision-making, consequence prediction, and judgment.
We named our company after it because that's exactly what we're building: systems that extend the human PFC — augmenting executive judgment, decision quality, and foresight beyond what any individual or team can achieve alone. Not replacing the human. Extending it.
